On 28th May all children will have the chance to work alongside a professional dancer, gaining a flavour and an appreciation of modern India, and the opportunity to express themselves through dance.
There will also be the opportunity to learn about Indian art, cookery and music.
We will need the children to wear comfortable, loose clothing on this day – track suit bottoms or leggings will be the most suitable. No jeans please. If your child already has an Indian costume, we are happy for them to wear it.
If you haven’t already done so, please remember to return your Bollywood Lunch slip by next Tuesday and please remember that snack packs will not be available on this day.
As we would like to capture the fun and excitement of this multicultural event, we are planning to video each class as they learn and perform their dances. If anyone does not wish their child to be included in this please can you contact Ms Fox before the 28th May.
We would like to thank The Friends for funding this wonderful day.
