Pupil Premium

"The school provides a good quality of education." Ofsted

Background

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools to address the current underlying inequalities between financially disadvantaged children and their peers. It is allocated for children eligible for free school meals, children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months, children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces and children who are in receipt of a pension under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme or the War Pensions Scheme. From 2012/2013, this has included pupils eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years.

Schools are free to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent but are required to publish online information about how the premium has been used and the impact that it has had on children’s progress.

The application form for free school meals can be obtained from the school office or accessed via the following link: www.norfolk.gov.uk/education-and-learning/schools/school-meals-and-milk
