Teaching & Learning
  • Provide effective & useful training for all staff
  • Further develop teacher subject knowledge
  • Provide peer coaching and lesson study opportunities for staff
  • Develop role of Pupil Premium Champion to ensure disadvantaged pupils are well supported
  • Develop & embed a mastery approach to teaching maths
Curriculum
  • Create updated SMSC provision map and curriculum overview
  • Further develop a knowledge rich, broad and balanced curriculum
  • Conduct a review and audit of curriculum
  • Be clear about what makes our approach/curriculum distinctive
  • Continued emphasis on what pupils know, how we know when they know it and what we do if/when they don’t (intent, implementation, impact). Core Knowledge, Knowledge Organisers, regular quizzing

  • Utilise Playground Buddies to help make playtimes fun/engaging for all
